    I'm going back and forth on this one. Steal for originals, maybe a little high for homebrew, still worth a look.

    Yes, they're home made cabs, but someone looks to have done a good job building them -- apparently to spec. from Altec plans. FWIW, there is a make offer button--might be worth a shot if someone's interested in buying these. He's right, when I've seen these on Ebay etc. they're usually singles since they pre-dated stereo. I'd love to hear how a pair of these sound. I wish he had a photo showing -- "2 of the 803B 15 in woofers have tear in the surround on the bottom" -- so we could see how serious the tear is. They may or may not require a recone and that would be nice to know before deciding how much to offer....
